The Sanskrit term Ayurveda means Knowledge of Life. It is one of the oldest health and wellbeing systems which evolved on the Indian subcontinent over 5000 years ago. The aim of Ayurvedic wisdom and health science is to preserve and protect the health of the healthy, heal the diseased and to promote human happiness and spiritual growth.
Ayurveda incorporates knowledge of the functional principles, known as Doshas, relating to the physiology and psychology of the individual. Imbalances and disease manifest differently in different people and for that reason Ayurveda looks at individual constitutions and offers

What to Expect
During Ayurveda consultations, your prakruti (fundamental state of balance) and your vikruti (current imbalance) will be assessed through Ayurvedic diagnostic methods, such as pulse, tongue and general examination, as well as inquiry into diet, dietary habits and lifestyle. Ayurvedic approach focuses on food as medicine, curating a harmonized lifestyle, personalized herbal protocol, body therapies, yoga asanas, breathwork and meditation. Ayurveda is not about implementing drastic changes for instantaneous results, although you could experience immediate benefits as you begin to consciously adopt the therapeutic recommendations.
Periodic follow-up sessions are recommended to evaluate and support your progress as well as any necessary adjustments to your management plan. In this way you can gently and proactively integrate Ayurvedic recommendations into your daily routine whilst cultivating self-
