Clarissa Vandenbussche RMT
In my 17 years of practice I have gained much knowledge and perspective when it comes to treating a wide variety of conditions. I believe that every client can benefit from Massage Therapy even if you have no major concerns. Massage can help you maintain your health by aiding in boosting your immune system and promote tissue and muscle health and increase muscle performance.
My practice is a mix of treating sports and work related injuries, chronic pain management and relaxation/stress reduction.
My primary goal when a new client walks into my office is to make them feel welcome and listen to their concerns and the reason they are seeking treatment so that I can help them achieve their treatment goals.
I have received training in Craniosacral therapy from the Cranial Therapy Centre in Toronto by Robert Harris who is a wonderful teacher and has so much knowledge to share with his students.
In addition to Massage Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy I have trained at McMaster University and completed their 300 hr Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program.
From 2010-2016 I worked at The Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy as an instructor in the student clinic and teaching in the classroom.
I worked for the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario as a Peer Assessor of current practicing Massage Therapists for approximately 7 years.
In December 2015 I started to work at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre treating WWII, Korean veterans, and palliative care patients.
I welcome all new clients and look forward to working with each of them.Book Appointment
